Grove City Mud Volleyball Registration Now Open

The annual Grove City Mud Volleyball Tournament is back for its 21st year of mucky play. The 2010 event will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7 at Beulah Park, 3811 Southwest Blvd.

Teams of six can register for $150 per team at City Hall. All team members must be 18 and older with a minimum of two women on each team. The tournament is single elimination; each team is guaranteed at least three matches. No coolers are permitted, and teams will not be re-admitted if they leave the courts.

All proceeds benefit LifeCare Alliance’s Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to local shut-ins. In 2009, this event raised $6,000 for the organization.
