RecSchool Preschool Registration

RecSchool is currently registering new families for the 2010-11 school year. Operated by the Grove City Parks and Recreation Department and licensed by the State of Ohio, the RecSchool preschool program is designed to support the developmental needs of pre-kindergarten children who are three years of age and older.

The program operates September through May with half-day classes offered one, two or three days per week at Gantz Barn, 2259 Home Road, in beautiful Gantz Park. Morning classes meet 9-11:30 a.m.; afternoon classes meet 12:30-3 p.m. Participants must be three years old by September 30, 2010.

The RecSchool philosophy recognizes that children learn best through meaningful play. Experienced teachers plan a curriculum that supports cognitive, physical and social development through art, literacy, music, math and science experiences. This nurturing environment prepares students for successful experiences in school and beyond by fostering competence, social skills, independence, creativity and a love of learning.
