Evans Center

The Evans Senior Center, 4330 Dudley Ave., promotes independence, community involvement and health consciousness in the 55+ community.

Center happenings range from daily activities like senior exercise, yoga and chorus to special events and trips. Members frequent local restaurants, theaters and shopping destinations as well as longer, overnight trips.

In addition to recreational activities, the Evans Center provides many essential services to the senior population, including home-delivered meals, housekeeping, transportation and an emergency-response system. Evans Center members also enjoy van/minibus transportation to and from the Center for a nominal $2 fee.

The annual dues are $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. All members are asked to renew their memberships in January, regardless of when they joined.

Hours of Operation

Evans Center hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The current edition of "The Connection", the Evans Center's quarterly newsletter is available to the right under downloads.

Volunteers

The Evans Center owes much of its success to the dedicated patrons who contribute their time and talents. Volunteers answer the phones, greet members at the front desk, teach classes, and assist with special events and more.
